Videoconference with Poland

 Today we had a meeting with the school from Poland. We introduced ourselves and we explained what is and  how we celebrate Castanyada.

We learnt that in Poland some cities celebrate Halloween  and others All Saints Day.

It was a Great experience!

This is their message:

Hello!

Thank you very much for today's meeting. We are very happy that we could see you and hear so much from you!

The Polish expression for All Saints' Day is Dzień Wszystkich Świętych. It is our traditional holiday to celebrate the memory of our deceased family members.

We are looking forward to the next meeting!

ETWINNING PROJECT

This year we are exchanging letters with another school from Poland.

Here you can see their presentation:

We are a class of 21 students from a small primary school in  Sosnowiec - a city in the south of Poland. We are very excited to make friends with you. That is why we wrote letters to each of you describing our neighbourhood, families and hobbies. We also attached three photos - of our school and the city centre. Around us there is a lot of greenery and old beautiful buildings. We hope you like them!
